Active Grove

Imagining the Active Grove
Play isn't just for kids.
Imagine the Active Grove as a shady, easygoing spot where neighbors of all ages can swing, play a game, or simply sit and stay awhile. Big swings, game tables, and plenty of seating under the trees would make it the kind of place where a quick stop turns into an afternoon.
Picture a chess match between friends, a group lunch at a long table, or a quick swing after grabbing fresh produce from the farmers market next door. Whatever brings you out, there'd be room to move, room to relax, and room to meet someone new.
Why this matters: Play doesn't have an age limit. The Active Grove would give neighbors of every age a reason to get outside, get moving, and connect with each other.
What We're Dreaming Up
Three features we hope to bring to the Active Grove

Big Swings
Tall swing frames would invite kids, teens, and grown-ups alike to kick back, swing high, and feel like a kid again.

Games in the Grove
Chess tables and colorful painted ground games would spark friendly rivalries, spontaneous matches, and a few new friendships.

Gather Under the Trees
Long communal tables, stepped and curved seating, and a shaded, covered spot to settle in would make the grove an easy place to linger with friends, family, and neighbors.
