Active Grove & Farmers Market
Imagine Kuumba Art Park
Active Grove & Farmers Market
Welcome to the Market Plaza, where the Active Grove meets the future marketplace. We're imagining a shady, easygoing spot to meet up, grab a bite, and stay awhile, with room for the whole crew to spread out, a game of chess in the afternoon, and maybe even a swing or two. The trail rolls right through, linking the fitness and bike plaza to the plaza and playground, with open meadow and beautiful murals along the way.
Pull Up a Seat
A few ways we're hoping to bring neighbors together
Seating & Tables
Big, cozy group seating and picnic tables made for shared meals, friendly chess rivalries, and long afternoons, all just a short stroll from marketplace goodies.
Trail Marker
A tall, sculptural marker designed and built by House of RAD, rising from the prairie plantings with bold cut-out patterns that catch the light. It guides the way along the trail and gives this gathering spot a landmark all its own.
Bike Racks
Easy places to park your bike, riders on the trail can pop in, hang out, and roll on.
