Playground

Imagining the Playground
Big fun for our littlest neighbors.
Imagine the playground as a bright, nature-inspired spot just off the plaza, where kids can climb, slide, spin, run, and play while the grown-ups hang out nearby. Leafy canopies, rolling green hills, and meadow plantings would make it feel like a little pocket of wonder right on the Beerline Trail.
Families could head over from the plaza with a snack in hand, let the kids burn off some energy, and stay as long as the day allows. It's a place where kids make new friends, and parents and neighbors do the same.
Why this matters: Every neighborhood deserves a great place to play. The playground would give local kids a safe, joyful space to grow, and give families one more reason to gather, stay, and connect.
What We're Dreaming Up
Three features we hope to bring to the Playground

The Canopy Climber
A multi-level play structure topped with leaf-shaped canopies would invite kids to climb, explore, and zoom down big, bright slides.

Rolling Hills & Open Play
Soft, rounded mounds and colorful play surfaces would give kids room to hop, tumble, and run, with space for the youngest ones to explore too.

Room for Everyone
Benches along the path and meadow plantings all around would give parents and neighbors a comfy spot to relax and keep an eye on the fun, just steps from the plaza.
